Survey Smarter Group brings together three separate applications designed around the practical work of residential surveyors, damp, timber and mould professionals, and asbestos surveyors. The shared aim is straightforward: make it easier to capture an inspection properly, keep the supporting evidence organised and produce a clear professional record from the information gathered on site.
Why the applications were developed
Less reconstruction after the inspection
Property inspection work often creates several disconnected records: handwritten notes, meter readings, photographs on a phone, marked-up plans, spreadsheets and a report template waiting back at the desk. The surveyor then has to decide which image belongs to which observation, re-enter property details and turn short site notes into a document that somebody else can understand. Every handover creates another opportunity for context to be lost or a finding to become separated from the evidence behind it.
The Survey Smarter Group applications were developed to keep those parts of the job together. Information is entered into a structured inspection record, photographs are attached where they are relevant, and the report or register is assembled from that same source. The software supports a more orderly workflow; it does not write the professional opinion or decide what the surveyor should conclude.

Why separate applications
Specialist work needs specialist workflows
A residential Home Survey Level 2 inspection is not a damp investigation, and neither is an asbestos survey. They ask different questions, use different evidence and produce records for different decisions. Putting all three into one generic form would make each workflow less clear. Survey Smarter therefore focuses on structured residential inspection and condition reporting. DampSurvey-Pro connects moisture and environmental readings, photographs, findings and recommendations. AsbestosSurveyPro follows the building room by room, linking ACM records, assessments, registers and reinspection dates.
They share an approach to evidence and reporting, not a shared product system. Each application has its own website, account, subscription and database. There is no common login, combined subscription or automatic transfer of customer or survey data between them. Visitors can choose the application that matches their work without being asked to adopt unrelated workflows.

Survey Smarter Group is the shared marketing identity used to present the three applications and help professionals find the product relevant to their inspection work. The website is operated by DAMPSURVEY PRO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17029975. Product access, subscriptions and data remain separate as described on each application page.
Professional responsibility
Software supports the record, not the judgement
The applications organise information and help produce consistent outputs. They do not make a user competent, determine the correct diagnosis, replace appropriate qualifications or accreditation, or remove any legal and statutory responsibility. The surveyor or organisation remains responsible for deciding the scope, carrying out suitable investigations, interpreting the evidence, writing conclusions and issuing work within their own competence and authority. No application is presented as approved, accredited or endorsed by RICS or another professional body.
